LARRY LAVERTY PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI

September 18-23 & 24-29, 2022

The Larry Laverty photographic Safari at Zikomo Safari is something we are very excited about. The following information should answer most questions but feel free to contact us at

The Safari will be limited to 4-6 persons per group and the price is based on sharing.

Included in price:

Transport to and from Mfuwe International Airport where Zikomo Safari will be waiting to take you to the camp.

Chalet accommodation with en-suite bathroom, all food and snacks, laundry service, WiFi, taxes, service fee, and 2 Safari activities per day, both morning and evening safaris averaging 4 hours each are usual but as this is Larry and your Safari hours will be up to Larry and the group.

Price is $600 per person per night based on sharing and is limited to no more than 6 guests for each one of the 2 safaris.

A portion of the price will be given to our local conservation group, Nsefu Wildlife.

It supports 9 rangers and an anti-poaching program as well as doing projects to support the local community (beekeeping, sewing program, educational program which has built classrooms and provided uniforms and educational material to schools).

Flights:
Qatar, Emirates and Ethipean fly directly into Lusaka, Zambia (the capital) where you will need to get a domestic flight (Proflight) to Mfuwe. Emirates will arrange that part of travel for you if you ask for it.

Our reservations agent Leslie Nevison can also help you book the domestic travel.

Corona Virus:
Zambia is now accepting proof of double vaccinations to enter and is no longer demanding a PCR test. If you are not vaccinated you will need a certified PCR covid test no less than 72 hours prior to arrival and one when you leave. There is a place in Mfuwe for a return PCR test on your way back if you need it.

Medication:
Besides vaccinations proof you should get anti malaria medication from your physician and be up to date on your tetanus. No other vaccinations are asked for.

Visas:
Visa for many countries (US and many western countries)are upon entry and no more than $50 to $75 per person for 30 days.
