About Us

True African Style

Only a forty-five (45) minute drive from Mfuwe International Airport, this affordable eco lodge is in an area away from other safari lodges, camps and accommodations. Zikomo Safari camp is spread under a canopy of enormous shade trees on the banks of the Luangwa River. Zikomo’s placement in the isolated Nsefu sector allows guests immediate access to one of the least crowded and most wildlife rich areas in the world.

Activities include: Morning and evening game viewing and walking Safaris which take place in the Nsefu sector of South Luangwa National Park.

Zikomo Safari has its own crossing point which takes our guests right into the National park during dry season. During the end of wet season it is necessary to drive a little further to enter the park.

Trips to see Chichele Hot Springs, the Stork Colony, Carmine Bee Eaters Nesting areas, hippo pods are all possible destinations on our drives.

Other possible trips are to a local village tour, or visit local artist in the area.

ACCOMMODATION

KAULUZI HOUSE

Kauluzi House is a private family house sleeping upto 12 people and overlooks the floodplain, Luangwa and Kauluzi rivers and includes a private guide, onsite chef and staff.

With a fully equiped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining area, the exterior deck provides access to a busy wildlife crossing point.
